The Ukrainian independent theater “Vilnyi Ptakh”, invites you to the play

Fairy Drama in three acts – “Lisova pisnya” (“The Forest Song”)

This performance is based on the work of the brilliant Lesya Ukrainka, which occupies a worthy place among the masterpieces of Ukrainian literature, this event simply cannot leave anyone indifferent! The work is saturated with colourful mysticism, powerful images and symbols that it completely turns the world we are used to around and tears us away from everyday life literally from the first minutes!

This play is about deep love and blind passion, betrayal and loyalty, sincere respect and blind ignorance, wrapped in velvet Ukrainian authenticity.

The play is full of bold directorial decisions and music that is reproduced according to Lesya Ukrainkas notes. Created to certainly bring you to sincere tears, if not from excitement, then certainly from laughter. After all, rarely anyone can resist the sense of Ukrainian humour!
