Lampshade Workshops with Annie

In a relaxed small group you will be provided with the steps, materials and tools needed to create a new magnificent lampshade for your ceiling or put on a lampbase.

Warning: this workshop is offered in English language. Sorry my danish is “0”.

Most importantly, have lots of fun!!

Your tutor Annie is also passionate about conscious living, if you have a shade at home you would love to refurbish, bring it along for show and tell and Annie will give you some tips and tricks on how to upcycle your old shades. Likewise with any bases that need beautifying.

COSTS:
Payment for the workshop is in Australian Dollars. $180 – NB: Early Bird price for the first five bookings!
Conversion. Is. 900 Danish Krone (300 Krone for frames, paper, tapes etc and 600 Krone for Tutoring)

FAQ’s

Do I need to bring any materials?
Your interior design taste is individual as you are.
May be you have a piece of 30 x 70 cm fabric you have embroidered, painted, stencillled or make.
A selection of unique fabrics from Australian designers are available on the day at various prices starting at just 50 danish krone.
Or bring along a favourite piece of natural fibre fabric (30x100cm). Using a piece of fabric that is special to you will also make a great talking point as part of your décor. Go to our website www.shadesofdistinction.com.au to have a peek at some of the fabrics on offer. Please recycle where possible.

Can I purchase a seat as a gift?
Yes, just contact Annie prior to the workshop to organise this.

Should I bring snacks?
Up to you but  a delicious healthy snack selection, juice and coffee/tea will be included in your ticket.

I have never created a lampshade does that matter?
No prior skills required to make a shade. It’s within every ones reach.

Is there an age limit?
Suitable for ages 10 – 99
