Lea Emilie Hansen
Lea Emilie Hansens praksis kredser om eksperimenter med materialer og følelsesudtryk med en fascination af det absurde i samtidens materialitet. Substanser blandes, tingeltangel limes på lærredet og alternative redskaber tages i brug. Abstrakte og semifigurative udtryk repræsenterer følelsesmæssige indtryk, og inspirationen findes i poesien samt den surrealistiske modernisme. Værkerne i udstillingen her indeholder blandt andet eksperimenter med blæk på plastiklommer, gouache blandet med salt, sukker og tapetklister, følelser i kroppen og historier fra det danske sprog og tryk med knoldselleri.

Maja Helene Vestergaard
Maja Helene Vestergaard studerer sit andet år af bacheloren i Medium- og Materialebaseret Kunst, med hovedfaget keramik på Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo.
Vestergaard arbejder med ler, tegning og undersøger feltet mellem de to medier, i både to- og tredimensionelle arbejder. Motiverne til arbejderne hentes i Vestergaards egen hverdag igennem daglige observationer, oplevelser, og drømme. Motiverne berører tematikker som vores skrøbelighed, dødelige kroppe, absurde universer og fuglen set som et symbol på både afslutninger og nye begyndelser. I udstillingen ses et relief i uglaseret stentøj og tegninger i varierende størrelser med materialer som kul, oliepastel, tusch og blyant.

Lea Emilie Hansen
The work of Lea Emilie Hansen is grounded in experiments with materials and the expression of emotions, all with a fascination in the absurd sides of contemporary materiality. Substances have been mixed, small objects glued onto the canvas, unusual tools used. Abstract and semi-figurative expressions represent emotional impressions, and inspiration is found in literature, films and surrealist modernist art. The works of this exhibition contain, among other things, experiments with ink, plastic record sleeves, gouache mixed with salt, sugar and adhesive, emotions in the body and histories from the Danish language as well as prints with celeriac.

Maja Helene Vestergaard
Maja Helene Vestergaard (dk) studies BA in ceramic art at Oslo National Academy of The Arts.
Vestergaard works with the mediums clay, ceramic and drawings. Investigating the area between the mediums exploring both two- and three dimensional forms.
The motives originating from Vestergaard’s own experiences and observations from the everyday life. Working with themes concerning our fragility, mortal bodies, absurd universes and the bird seen as a symbol of both endings and beginnings.
Vestergaard is exhibiting an unglazed stoneware relief and drawings in variable sizes with different materials such as coal, oil pastels, felt-tip pen and pencil.
