Danske Dansehistorier: Stories yet to be told

Velkommen til ‘Stories yet to be told – Aarhus’, et weekend-symposium for dansere, koreografer og andre med relation til dans og koreografi som kunstform.

Deltagelse er gratis, men der er et begrænset antal pladser.

Du inviteres til at dele historier, minder, erfaringer og drømme fra dit liv og virke med dansen. Gennem historiefortælling, dans og en koreo-grafisk kortlægning vil vi samles om, hylde og kaste kritiske blik på vores fag.

Quim Bigas Bassart, en kunstner der arbejder i krydsfeltet mellem koreografi, dramaturgi og informationsprocedurer, er inviteret til at holde en workshop om søndagen, hvor vi vil udforske arkiv og dokumentation med en eksperimenterende og kropslig tilgang.

”Stories yet to be told udfoldes gennem tre weekendsymposier > Roskilde 8.-9. maj > Odense 22.-23. maj > Aarhus 26.-27. juni, og fortsætter og udvider mødet omkring ‘Danske Dansehistorier’. Initiativet er et kunstnerisk forsøg på at udforske alternative metoder og fælles ejerskab for udfoldelse, dokumentation og arkivering af den kollektive historie.

Støttet af Statens Kunstfond, i samarbejde med Åben dans, Teater Momentum og Åbne Scene.

You are invited to share stories, memories and dreams from your life and work with dance. Through storytelling, dancing and a choreo-graphic mapping, we will gather around, celebrate and pay critical attention to our field.

Quim Bigas Bassart, an artist working within the fields of choreography, dramaturgy and information procedures, is invited to give a workshop where we will explore archive and documentation with an experimental and bodily approach.

‘Stories yet to be told’ unfolds during three weekend-symposiums > Roskilde 8-9 May > Odense 22-23 May > Aarhus 26-27 June, and is a continuation and expanding of the meeting around ‘Danish Dance Stories’. The initiative is an artistic exploration of alternative methods and joint ownership of the unfolding, documentation and archiving of a collective history.
