BELONGING / FINDING YOUR TRIBE

A playful workshop exploring queer belonging, chosen family, and community through movement, conversation, writing, drawing, and the creation of small video portraits.

Together we will move, share stories, reflect, and engage in playful creative exercises that invite us to think about the people, places, and communities that make us feel at home. Through movement and dance, collective conversations, and drawing, we will explore what it means to find your tribe and create spaces where we can truly belong.

Bring the people who make you feel most like yourself, your friends, lovers, chosen family, or community. You are also very welcome to come alone. The workshop is designed as a welcoming space for connection, and no previous experience in dance, performance, art, or video-making is needed. Just bring yourself.

Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the GOOD ENOUGH? video installation by sharing personal stories, reflections, gestures, images, and moments of connection that celebrate belonging and community.

Workshops are open to everyone. No prior experience, special skills, or artistic background are needed, participants are invited to simply come as they are. The workshops are designed as welcoming, inclusive spaces where curiosity, connection, and participation are more important than experience.
